Starling information

Starlings are often seen in gardens, where they will scavenge for anything, there has been a decline in the number of starlings and they are on the Endangered Red List.

A bold little bird, that likes to nest in the soffits of a house. They often congregate in 1000’s and put on an incredible aerial display, known as a Murmering, in the autumn. Flocks of this size, when perching / roosting can cause a mammoth build up of guano in a very short time. Because of their Red Listing, no preventative measures can be done during the breeding season.
