Reaping the rewards for excellent service

Cleankill Team Leader Dan Parsons recently took his team of technicians for a day of shooting in recognition of their outstanding achievement of exceeding their 95% state of service (SOS) target in both Q3 and Q4 2022. Incentive afternoons are normally arranged quarterly, with the rewards being taken in the next quarter. However, a combination of annual leave, training and a short month in December meant Dan’s team did not receive its Q3 incentive afternoon in Q4, so Dan asked if he could combine both half days into a single day.

Raising funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK

We are pleased to announce our office Alzheimer’s Research UK donation tin has now reached in excess of £117. Organised by pest control technician Christopher Summers, the collection tin will remain in the office until the end of the year. We are therefore asking anyone with spare change (or notes!) to make sure they pop it in the box.

Cleankill agrees sponsorship deal with ABS Racing

Cleankill Pest Control is pleased to announce it has agreed a new sponsorship deal with the motorcycle sidecar racing team, ABS Racing. Consisting of driver Billy Pearson and passenger Shaun Parker, with Aden Pearson in support, ABS Racing has a three-year plan that will take them from the BEMSEE (British Motorcycle Racing Club) sidecar championship in 2023 to the Isle of Man TT in 2025. Along the way, they will compete with wildcard entries to the British F2 championship in 2023, before competing full-time in the British F2 championship in 2024.

Got a problem with mosquitos? Check your shower trap

Cleankill Pest Control is reminding homeowners to check their shower traps after one client found themselves with a nasty infestation of mosquitos in the middle of winter.The East Sussex resident was surprised to find they were being bitten by mosquitos in January. Initial searches for the cause of the problem proved inconclusive. It was only when they looked in the shower trap of a rarely used shower that they found lots of tiny, vicious mosquito young.
